Calling all world-builders, virtual artists, and digital pioneers! Game & Technology Academy, powered by George Mason University, is your next step to becoming part of the future of gaming.

Over the course of your time at Game & Technology Academy, you will:

  • Participate in daily courses taught by George Mason faculty members who are experts in their field
  • Visit the Virginia Serious Game Institute to hear from working professionals about topics like creating gaming distribution channels*
  • Enjoy learning and working alongside your fellow high school attendees who are equally passionate about game design

Attending Game & Technology Academy will give you unprecedented access to some of the lead gaming developers in the nation. Game & Tech courses enjoy small student-to-teacher ratios, to allow for personalized instruction and support as you develop the skills you’ll need to adapt to the rapidly changing digital world.

We’re proud to offer schedule flexibility for students attending our Game & Technology Academy. You have the option to participate virtually or as a residential student staying on the George Mason campus.
